As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my goal is to aid you with developing healthier and more meaningful relationships with yourself and your loved ones so that you can achieve a more fulfilling life. I am passionate about working with immigrants and minorities dealing with racial/cultural identity, acculturation, relationship issues, and various mental health issues including depression, anxiety, low-self esteem and PTSD.

As a first generation Korean immigrant, I understand the struggles and frustration that stem from being a minority and undergoing the process of acculturation. I offer sessions in both English and Korean to best meet the needs of culturally diverse populations.

In our therapy sessions together, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to feel heard and validated. As a relational therapist, I am committed to help you explore your relationship with yourself, others and the environment you live in and uncover what might be affecting your current problems. Along the way, I teach you practical tools and skills that foster growth and change.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Pre-counseling from Moody Bible Institute and my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College. I take an integrative approach combining Family Systems Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which is an evidence-based therapy model.
