Do you struggle to find your voice in relationships or create and maintain healthy boundaries?
Challenges like these can leave you feeling resentful, lonely, confused, and tired. Or maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the roles you play in your life and the life of others. Your default mode is to take care of everyone else, and somehow you’re left with little to no time and energy for yourself. Or maybe you’re pretty satisfied with the way things have been going in this season of life, and you’re looking to gain skills and insight to grow and mature in self-awareness and self-acceptance. Starting counseling, especially with a new person, can feel daunting. But taking the first step can lead you to transformative experiences.
My road to becoming a counselor began with my own experience working with supportive therapists. Through the work I did over the years in my mental health journey, I was able to get to a place where I learned to trust and accept myself. It was life-giving and life-changing. I experienced safety, validation, empathy, and a neutral perspective that enabled me to change and mature emotionally and spiritually. These are the values I bring into my relationships with my clients.
Working together starts with building a relationship based on trust, empathy, and non-judgment. The time and space we share is a safe place where we can explore your life experiences and what they have meant to you. We collaborate to identify areas that you’d like to learn and grow. Together, we approach experiences and conversations with humility and curiosity, so we can gain insights into the areas of your life that are working for you and those that aren’t serving you well.EDUCATION
